Ceramic Coating Nano Technology

The word “Nano” refers to the size of the molecules or particles in the coating itself. These particles range from 80-100 nano-meters. This doesn’t mean a lot to most people but to put it to scale, there are 25 million nano-meters in an inch.

Because the particles are so small when applied to a surface, they seal all the pores making the surface hydrophobic (water-repellent), but also resistant to UV damage, scratches, chemicals and swirls.

Ti22 Ceramic Coating

Ti22 ceramic coating is a hand applied liquid product made from ceramic nano particles suspended in a clear resin. When applied, it hardens and cross links into a virtually impermeable surface that is chemically bonded to the surface of your vehicle providing protection from the harmful effects of UV rays, acid rain, industrial fallout, oxidation, surface scratches and swirl marks.

As seen in the images to the right, Ti22 creates a glass like micro millimeter barrier on top of the painted surface which offers an extra layer of protection while increasing shine, gloss and durability for your vehicles paint for many years to come.

Liquid Polymer Permanently Bonds For Long-Lasting Protection

Ti22 Is Easy to Apply

Ti22 ceramic coating offers an incredible level of protection, shine and gloss for your vehicle that’s simply not possible to obtain with normal car washing and waxing. There are no other waxes or sealants that can offer the level of protection and cosmetic value for your car like a Ti22 ceramic coatings provide.

Ti22 ceramic coating products are suitable for use on paint, hard plastic trim, many types of metals, vinyl, wheels and calipers and even glass.

Ti22 ceramic coating is a hand-applied liquid polymer that creates a bond with the vehicle’s factory paint and clear coat through a chemical reaction. This creates a protective layer that offers long-term protection, shine, and gloss.

There are many ceramic coating products on the market. The principal differences are the amount of Si02 content in the product. Some have levels as low as 3% or as high as 70%. Generally, the higher the level of SiO2 the more durable and long-lasting the product will be.

Because Ti22 ceramic coatings have a high percentage of Si02, they will not wear, wash away, or break down as waxes and sealants do.

Ti22 Outperforms Waxes & Sealants

Ti22 can help preserve and enhance your vehicle’s paint gloss and shine. Additionally, it will help to reduce maintenance by creating layers of protection on top of your vehicles clear coat. These layers act like a barrier to minor rock chip damage, scratches and swirl marks. While not bullet proof, Ti22 does offer the greatest level of protection for your vehicles paint in comparison to waxes and sealants that last only for a short period of time.

Ti22 hydrophobic properties will help eliminate water spotting as water repels from the surface, making your vehicle easier and faster to clean.

What Ti22 can’t do is protect vehicles that come into contact with large projectiles, heavy scratching and severe rock chips. You’ll need a heavier paint protection like PPF, (Paint Protection Film) or clear bra, which is thick layer of a clear vinyl applied over the paint and cost several thousands of dollars.

It’s important to know that with the correct application of a high grade ceramic coating like Ti22, its purpose is to be a sacrificial barrier and a protective shield that will protect the painted surface under the coating without damaging your paint.
